At Open House we believe every person matters. And we'd love the chance to get to know you!
We understand that there can be some questions when you're visiting a church and we wanted to make sure those are answered for you. If you have any question that aren't answered here, please feel free to call or message!

We gather as a church community at 10am on Sundays. We currently use the Kellyville Adventist Church building, meeting in 'The Chapel' (2-4 Gum Nut Close, North Kellyville). Our services go for around an 1 hour, or a little longer. We aim to always be finished by 11:15am. We then gather for a yummy morning tea afterwards with tea and coffee - and it's a great way to catch up with friends and meet new ones!
From the moment you visit Open House, our desire is that you would feel welcome and at home; like you are with family. We work hard every Sunday to help make this a place you can feel comfortable exploring the Christian faith at your own pace and growing in your walk with God.
Every Sunday morning we gather together to worship Jesus and connect with each other.
You can expect to be pointed toward Jesus Christ as we join in dynamic worship and as we take a look at the Bible in a way that is engaging, insightful and relevant.
Our service at Hillside consists of two main aspects: our time of worship and our time of sharing from God’s word. We worship together from 10:45am through till about 11:25pm or so. And then following our worship we will have a time of speaking that will typically go till 12:00pm.
Interspersed in our times of worship and speaking we will have a time of announcements, a greeting time, ministry presentations and once a month (on the first Sunday of the month) we celebrate communion together.
We also hear the latest church life news, and there is always an opportunity for prayer.
What do I wear?
We have two fun and dynamic programs for our kids. 'Open House Minis' is for all children 1-5 (before going to School). They meet in 'The Playhouse' room, and go out during the service (just after our opening worship time). We also have 'Open House Kids' for all Primary-age children (5-12yo).

The I'm New section can be used to answer the top 5-7 questions a new person would have before attending the church for the first time. One idea would be to set up the page in a FAQ format which answers each question in a clear and concise way. Some questions you may want to answer could include:
