We're a multicultural, inter-generational community of ordinary Aussies experiencing the difference God can make in our lives through His Son, Jesus Christ. We seek to live out our faith by modelling it all on Jesus - his life, teaching, example and love.
Whatever your faith background or spiritual tradition; whatever your belief system, ethnicity or culture or marital status - we're glad you're here! At Open House we believe God loves everyone - and so we want to do that too! It’s our desire that everyone who comes will experience the life-changing love of God in and through our Church family.
Therefore, Jesus is at the centre of all we do. We are a community where it's OK to not be ok. Because the truth is - all of us have our issues and stuff we’re dealing with. And so we’re trying to create a community that turns down the dial of judgement, and up the dial of love and acceptance. We want it to be a safe place for you to be yourself. That’s why one of our most important values is to be authentic and keep it real.
We believe in a God who changes lives! We believe that He is real and active today and that there is no problem in human life that apprenticeship to Jesus cannot solve. While we believe God loves us and accepts us as we are, we believe He loves us too much to keep us that way. He wants to help us grow and become all He created us to be. And so our hope is that your involvement at Open House will be one that helps you on that journey - to grow and be more like Jesus in the way you live and love.
